The incident occurred just two days after the launch of the protocol's native ORDER token and staking program. The Orderly team has urged users to avoid clicking any links until the situation is resolved. This breach comes at a critical time for the protocol, which recently began its token generation event and continues to expand its staking program. Phishing attacks are a common threat in the crypto space, contributing to an estimated $1.2 billion lost to hacks and scams in 2024 alone, according to Immunefi.
